As promised, I am back! Time for me and you to dive together into the second part of our conversation. Today the topic is going to be focused on the best free blogging platforms.
There is so much to be said about them. My fingers can't literally type fast enough!
Time is money. - Benjamin Franklin
When you are a blogger for a living, you couldn't possibly agree more or argue with that...
Without further ado - let's do this!
This post may contain affiliate links. See my disclosure here.
Ah, everyone's favorite when you are a complete beginner!
Free of charge, no stress!
In my previous post a lot was written about the pros and cons of having a free blog.
Now, I would like to concentrate on what each particular platform can do for you.
I've done my best and I've prepared a list of the most important players on the field.
Make no mistake about it - Blogger is the most popular one!
It has been around for a really long time. As a matter of fact - longer than any other free blogging platform.
Therefore, you shouldn't be surprised that Blogger is the first choice for every newcomer with aspirations for blogging.
Interesting fact - it belongs to the Almighty Google!
Yeap, Number 1 search engine purchased it a few years ago.
And I gotta say - ever since Blogger has improved tremendously. Its features and tools are so much better than they used to be!
Let's see what Blogger has to offer, shall we?
The most attractive part when you are fresh on the scene...
Speaking from my own experience - when you are just starting, the budget is a big concern.
Blogger is more than helpful about that. All its services and features are completely free for all the users.
That's right - with Blogger you can create as many blogs as you like.
Since it's a free platform, who is going to tell you NO?!?
A big help in creating a gorgeous blog will be the choice of a theme.
With Blogger, you can mess around with your templates and come up with a nicer theme for your website.
In short, Blogger is the easiest platform to use.
However, there is something that you should really take into consideration:
Building a website from scratch is not as simple as you may think. At least it isn't if this is your first try!
But Blogger makes the task easy enough, especially if you're a complete beginner.

As I mentioned before, the free blogs are very limited in their options for advertising.
To the contrary - if you are on Blogger, Google AdSense will be automatically integrated into your website.

Nowadays, Wix is considered one of the the best drag-and-drop website builders in the world!
Be that as it may, you're going to need some more information about it, right?
The time when you had to be a tech wizard in order to build a website is completely gone.
Today, EVERYONE can do it.
You don't need to be able to write a single line of code. And Wix is not going to make you do it either.
Basically, you'll be able to build your website in no time.
This way, you can move on quickly and concentrate on writing your awesome content.
Honestly, I don't believe that the guys from Wix are really fond of the idea of sleeping.
Considering how much Wix is improving all the time...
Just look at Wix Adi and Wix Code, some of the latest features being released!
Wix will provide you with an enormous choice of templates, ready to be used.
No matter what your niche is, you'll be able to find the one that will work best for you.
I've seen sites built with Wix. And let me tell you - they look pretty professional!
Just to be completely clear:
Considering this article is about the best free blogging platforms, you should know that Wix offers a free trial.
But to have the best of what it has to offer, you should definitely look into the Premium Plans.
Currently, tons of newbie bloggers are staring into this Weebly's direction.
Even more, some may argue that Weebly is better than Wix...
How about I let you decide for yourself?
Similar to Wix, Weebly will bring your website to life pretty fast.
All the necessary tools will be provided for you.
Weebly comes into your blogging life with plenty of pre-built templates, easy to customize. On top of that, mobile responsive.
And we all know how important that is!
Lets do a quick comparison between Wix and Weebly:
When talking about themes, Weebly is one big step in front of Wix.
Wix doesn't allow you to switch themes. But Weebly does!
In other words, you don't have to be stacked with your first choice forever. If someday you feel like that your theme is no longer working for you, just get another one!
For a drag-and-drop free builder, Weebly is definitely stepping up its game. It will provide your site with professional features.
You will have access to more than 40 pre-designed page layouts. So, take your pick - landing pages, contact pages, portfolios...
Did I mention the sitemaps as well?
Tumblr is very popular, especially with the younger audience.
Hey, even Taylor Swift is using it!
It was founded in 2007 and belong to Yahoo since 2013.
As a matter of fact, all that you'll need to do is a quick registration.
You may be surprised, but Tumblr is a Social Media and blogging platform at the same time.
In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with having a bit more of personality!
Now, let me tell you:
Don't expect too much from Tumblr!
Although some customization is possible, for the bigger blogging stuff you'll have to be familiar with HTML coding.
The main thing to remember in here is that Tumblr is a micro-blogging site. It's much bigger on visuals than on written content.
That being said, it's still one of the best free blogging platforms!
To be honest, there is a reason why I saved SiteRubix to be the last on the list.
It holds a special place in my heart...
My very first website was built on SiteRubix. And this one as well!
As expected, my website came to life in less than 5 minutes!
Seriously, that should be saying enough about what SiteRubix can do...
And it's not an accident that this program is my Top Recommendation for everyone who is determined to build an online business...
In other words:
If you decide to give SiteRubix a try, you'll also be able to start a high-quality education of the online business.
Well, I think that's it on the best free blogging platforms.
I'll try to update this post as much as I can.
Considering the blogging world is changing all the time...
I gave the feeling that a lot more will be written in here!
